Upper Crust to present art by Susan Timmons Macintire starting June 1

The Upper Crust at 7 E. Market St. in Georgetown, will present works by artist Susan Timmons Macintire from Monday, June 1, through Saturday, June 27. A meet-the-artist reception date is to be determined; look on The Upper Crust website theuppercrust.info and Facebook page facebook.com/TheUpperCrustGeorgetown.  Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for the event.

Macintire, a native Delawarean, is an artist who expresses her unique perception of the environment in a variety of media. She dabbles in pastels and photography, but excels in oil on canvas.

Macintire enjoys exploring new techniques to capture a wide array of subjects, particularly in their natural environments. Her favored subjects include flowers, crustaceans, seascapes and landscapes, as well as portraits.

Macintire is a member of multiple art entities such as the Mispillion Art League in Milford and the Rehoboth Art League in Henlopen Acres. Her works can be viewed in venues in Delaware and Florida, and her art is on Facebook at Susie’s Art and/or Susan Timmons Macintire.
