Vintage Vault Thrift and Consignment opens in Georgetown

Vintage Vault Thrift and Consignment has officially opened its doors in Georgetown. 

The shop features a wide selection of products, including furniture, glassware, electronics, jewelry, tools, artwork, books, antiques, clothing and much more.

Most of the available items come from owner Dominick Coviello’s personal collection; other products include donations and consignment pieces. Everything is priced with affordability in mind, offering the public solid bargains on quality products. The business also features a loyalty reward program that offers regular shoppers fun prizes. Plus, Vintage Vault Thrift and Consignment offers local delivery options for furniture pieces. 

Coviello said he’s always had a passion for collecting. He loves taking thrown-away products and finding them a home where they are used and appreciated. After years of selling thrifted items online, he decided it was time to offer a physical storefront. 

“I’ve always had a love for treasure,” said Coviello. “I call it treasure, right. Even as a kid, I always would look at stuff people were throwing away and was like, ‘Man, that could still be used or repurposed.’” 

Coviello hopes his business offers a positive experience for the local community. He is passionate about helping those within the community fulfill their shopping needs at a manageable price. He truly appreciates his regular shoppers and the various support he has received from the community. 

“The biggest reward for me is just helping people,” said Coviello. “We all have times in our life where we’ve had a hard time and needed someone to kind of just give us a little lift. I try to help others in any way I can.”

Looking into the future, Coviello hopes to see Vintage Vault Thrift and Consignment continue to grow and to officially build a brand. Long-term goals include establishing a thrift outlet center. 

“I hope to build a brand and eventually get a little bigger than this,” said Coviello.

Vintage Vault Thrift and Consignment is located at 23104 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Unit 15, in Georgetown. The shop is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays.
