Into the wild with the Cape Gazette

In March, Cape Gazette readers James and Lenora Sherard of Lewes traveled to South Africa and Zimbabwe. Here they pictured taking a break during a game drive in the Kapama Game Reserve near the Kruger National Park. The small reserve consists of 13,000 hectares of pristine African bushveld, yet it offers all the game found in bigger reserves, including 42 mammal species and approximately 350 species of birds.
