Annual Christmas program is about ‘Redeeming the Gift’ to pass on to others

Youth at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lewes took center stage during the Dec. 20 worship service presenting an original multimedia, musical production of “Redeeming the Gift.”
Taking part in the program were Christian Dekker, storyteller; Matthew Evins, grandfather; Rose Spiezio, grandmother; Kristen Spiezio, Mary and Sarah; Liana Evins, Holly; Marissa Hurley, angel; Lauren Brockson, children’s mother; Bryce Kelly, stage announcer; and cousins Ian and Camden McNally, Phoenix and Violet Mullins, and Bennett Brockson. The production was written by Amanda Evins and Pastor Robert Dekker, and directed by Evins.
Holly, portrayed by Liana Evins, realizes her dream of singing at the Grand Ole Opry with her grandfather, portrayed by Matthew Evins.

Grandmother, Rose Spiezio, presents special gifts to the children who then give special gifts to others.
