Author D.J. Griffin will sign copies of “Love, Lewes” from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 4, at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach.
Genevieve “Vie” Stewart is on her way to becoming the next doctor in the family when tragedy strikes. Devastated, she comes home to the picturesque coastal town of Lewes.
Wondering if she’ll ever return to medicine, Vie agrees to help out a family friend who owns a local pub. Bartending leads to a hilarious friendship with the area’s most fabulous event planner and a newfound interest in all things restaurant, including a certain handsome chef.
But no surprise, in a town nearly 400 years old with connections to shipwrecks, pirates and the War of 1812, Genevieve also meets a ghost.
