This mouth-watering sandwich will have you searching for TEMPEH (temp pay), fermented soybean cake found in the refrigerated produce section of your local grocery store. Loaded with plant protein minus all the health risks of animal foods and cruelty free, Tempeh makes a perfect sandwich ingredient. Thanks to Neal Barnard, M. D., of The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine for the FACON BACON recipe included here. We loved our FBLT (Facon Bacon Lettuce Tomato) with shaved onion on Old World Ancient Grain Bread, slathered with our secret homemade potato mayo, served with a side of ratatouille!
