League's Holiday Fair Fine Arts & Craft Show set Nov. 5

RAL to feature more than 30 artists

Rehoboth Art League will host its Holiday Fair Fine Arts & Craft Show with more than 30 artists displaying and selling their work. The event is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Rehoboth Art League campus, 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth Beach.

Patrons can choose one-of-a-kind gifts from Mid-Atlantic regional artists in many of the following categories:

Jewelry: Arden Bardol, Sue Bartley, Jacqui Chmiel, Lynda Dashiell-Ohotnicky, Joanne DiFiore, Susan Gist, Fay Kempton, Joan Mulholland, Marilyn Nugent and Lisa Pilchard

Glass creations: Connie Ballato, Valerie Dellas and Wayne McDermott

Paintings: C. Viers Mace and Jarrod Ranney

Pottery: Pam Blessinger, Brenda Butterfield, Carmela Coleman, Barbara Crowl, Amelie Sloan and Jeff Stickle

Clay creations: John Cooley, Susan Gladstone, Wes Stack and Jeff Weston; Wood creations: Mary Costa and Roger Galbraith

Decorative and wearable fiber creations: Jane Drevo, D. Scott Ennis, Irina Iakomi, Jane Laszek and Pat Staby

Mixed media:  Pam Bounds-Seemans and Bea Whitehead.

An entrance fee of $5 for the day entitles visitors to one chance for the silent ticket auction items, including art work by Holiday Fair artists and items donated by Rehoboth Beach businesses. Throughout the day auction items will be on display in the Ventures Gallery and additional chances available at $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will begin at 3 p.m., and winners not present will be notified, if contact information is provided.

Patrons will enjoy the day strolling the art league’s decorated campus and enjoying choral music by Mixed Blessings and Sussex Tech Bella Voce. And in the Holly Café, the Village Improvement Association. will offer its popular chicken salad and other lunch choices and homemade goodies.
