Enchanted Evening fundraiser to benefit Clothing Our Kids April 16

The second annual Kickin’ it up for Kids Fundraiser, an Enchanted Evening Under the Stars, will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at the Peninsula Golf & Country Club. VIP festivities begin at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Clothing Our Kids, which provides clothing, shoes and coats to at-risk elementary school children throughout Sussex County at no charge, to help students be ready to learn. Working exclusively with school nurses to identify needy children and families, volunteers distributed more than 11,000 clothing items to over 2,400 local school kids in 2019.

Guest are encouraged to find a marvelous mask and wear it well, so no-one their true identity can tell.

Similar to last year, there will be silent and live auctions, delicious hors d’oeuvres, drinks (welcome champagne plus one free drink ticket), and dancing to the sounds of the David Zipse Trio.

Sign-up for the VIP Starlight Room allows pre-party early access with an open bar, elegant bites, exclusive VIP-only auction items and a VIP checkout line. General ticket price is $100 per person. VIP price is $150 per person.
