Lewes offices closed Nov. 25-26
The offices of Lewes City Hall and the Board of Public Works will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25 and 26, in observance of Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen with regular hours Monday, Nov. 29.
Lewes subdivision code workshop set
The Subdivision Code Subcommittee of the Lewes Planning Commission will hold a public workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Rollins Community Center.
The meeting provides the public an opportunity to learn about and comment on proposed changes to the subdivision and land development code. Residents may also participate virtually. A link to the meeting can be found on the agenda at lewes.civicweb.net.
Lewes resiliency committee to meet
The Lewes Executive Committee on Resiliency will meet at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, at city hall. The group will have an open discussion on prioritization of strategies and the introduction of discussion on raising the freeboard elevation. Dewey infrastructure committee to meet
The Dewey Beach Infrastructure Committee will meet at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave. Members will discuss and possibly vote on options to reline or reconstruct stormwater assets on McKinley and Bayard avenues, and on a set of prioritized projects to address flooding.
