Cape High JROTC cadets were recognized for their first-semester achievements at a small ceremony held Feb. 9.
Awards ranged from excellence in leadership positions to significant individual excellence in class performance. Significant awards included the Cadet of the Semester earned by Cadet Lucas Santini and Platoon Leader (Teaching Assistant) earned by Cadet Isaac League.
Battalion Commander Cadet Lt. Col. Marina Santini conducted the ceremony with assistance from senior Cadets Zoe Peters, Tyller Maltbie, Sam Kerstetter and Brogan Conley.
