Reader sympathizes with recent pet loss

April 8, 2022

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Fisher-Okeeffe Family. If I had their email, I would tell them so.

I too lost a pet recently since we were unable to find a competent veterinary in the area. We used a local place, but they have the least amount of empathy for our fur-babies. My dog died because they gave him the wrong medicine (it said on it that animals with “this” condition should not be given it). And, they were treating him for the conductions. They actually put the wrong dog information about him into his brother’s folder!

They told me they were understaffed and stressed due to COVID. I guess for the next few years everything will be blamed on COVID! My dog is gone because of them. I am now looking for a new vet that will show love and compassion for my other dogs. I hope I can find one. This would not have happened in New York at my old vet office, I can tell you that.
