Milton Arts Guild holds Spring Fling

May 8, 2022

Milton Arts Guild held its annual Spring Fling market April 29-May 1 for the first time in its new building on Federal Street in downtown Milton.

Milton Arts Guild President Sue Dutton said, “Spring Fling is one of our four markets. It gives an opportunity for our folks to bring in more stuff. Any of our members can bring as much as they want. It gives an opportunity for people to do different kinds of art.”

The guild also hosts a summer show, the fall Art Walk and the winter Holiday Market. This is the first Spring Fling to be held in the guild’s new Federal Street facility, which opened in December in time for the Holiday Market.

While Spring Fling only lasts one weekend, the arts guild is displaying its showcase “Inspirations,” which Dutton said is where artists were asked to create whatever inspires them. The show lasts until Sunday, June 19.

In addition, the guild is also holding a raffle to give away a painted bench sitting in front of the guild’s building. Tickets can be purchased at the Milton Arts Guild; the raffle will be held through the end of June.
