Arthur Robert Chick, proud veteran

Arthur Robert Chick, 84, of Georgetown passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Country Rest Home in Greenwood.

Arthur was a long-distance truck driver in New York and then worked his farm in Georgetown for over 30 years.  Mr. Chick served in the U.S. Army and was active with various veterans’ associations, also serving as a national officer with the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.  Mr. Chick was also an RSVP volunteer with the CHEER Center in Georgetown.  He attended Asbury Church with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Chick in 2017; and his son, Michael Chick.

He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Chick; and brother, Bill Chick of Texas.

A committal service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, in the chapel at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
