Spring sports practices are underway at high schools across the state, including lacrosse. John Schroeder recently shared this photograph of the Delaware Lacrosse Club from the mid to late 1970s. It is believed the photo was taken at the old Milford High School, where the team played most of its home games. The roster includes many family names familiar to Cape Region residents.
Among those shown in back are John Sergovic, Tom Draper, Lou Norbeck, Carl Bartell, Dale Donaway and Big Jack Allen. Among those in front are Bill Kenton, John Coveleski, John Schroeder, Rob Schroeder and Burt Dukes.
