Delores A. Clark, active community member

Delores A. Clark, 78, of Harbeson, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born June 21,1947, in Portchester, N.Y., the daughter of late Lawerence Mulinare and Claire (Bubbico) Mulinare. Delores graduated from Harrison High School in 1965 and went on to a career in the corporate world, beginning with American Can Company and later working for IBM in Armonk, N.Y.

After many years in corporate life, Delores devoted herself to work she found meaningful in the nonprofit sector. Her commitment to helping others was reflected in her service at Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and most recently at The Way Home in Georgetown.

Delores was also active in her community as a longtime member of the Sussex County Democratic Committee, where she served as corresponding secretary. She was known for her dedication and strong sense of civic responsibility.

An avid animal lover, Delores had special devotion to dogs and cats in need of care, often fostering them so they would be ready for new families.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Lillian Greason, Lorraine Passarelli and Lorelei Gallo.

She is survived by her sister, Laura Jo Matheny; nine nieces and nephews; and 12 grand-nieces and -nephews.

Private services will be held later in the spring.
