Insight Homes sponsors fourth annual Bark on the Boards  Oct. 5

October 1, 2014

Insight Homes joins hundreds of pet lovers as they head to the Boardwalk to help homeless animals. The event, created by Delaware SPCA's Georgetown Adoption Center, will support adoptions and shelter services. The fourth annual Bark on the Boards Dog Walk will start at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 5.

The event offers fun activities and refreshments for all ages. The walk coincides with the first weekend of the off-season, when dogs are welcome on the boards and beach. Insight Homes employees plan to participate in the outing with their pets.

This event supports the more than 3,000 animals saved every year by the Delaware SPCA. “We feel as though pets can really make a house a home," said Insight Homes CEO Rob Lisle. “It is important for every homeless pet in Delaware to find a safe and happy place to live.”

"One of the best ways to make a new house feel like a home is to welcome a new member of the family,” said Christopher Higgins, marketing director. “So many lovable pets are waiting for new families at the SPCA, and we are proud to support their mission."
