Ann Bateman Ltd. passes the paper torch to Make My Day Event Planning

Ann Bateman, owner of Ann Bateman Ltd. in downtown Rehoboth Beach, knew exactly whom to contact when she decided to sell her stationery and invitation business of 13 years.

Her first and only call was to Leanne Silicato and Casey Kieffer of Make My Day Event Planning of Rehoboth. Bateman and the women of Make My Day already had a long-standing relationship of working together.

“I couldn’t think of two better women to carry on the tradition of quality invitations and customer service in our community,” said Bateman. “It just seemed to be the perfect addition to their already successful event planning business.”

Silicato and Kieffer finalized the purchase of the stationery and invitation division of Ann Bateman Ltd. this summer.

With the acquisition of Ann Bateman Ltd., they added a variety of lines to their retail store on Rehoboth Avenue, including William Arthur, Stacey Claire Boyd, Noteworthy, Karen Adams Design, Whitney English and Sarah LeClere along with product lines already offered at Make My Day including Cranes & Co, Checkerboard, Carlson Craft, Sweet Pea Designs, McPhersons, the local Sandy Soiree and more.
