Frank Ronald 'Ron' Biggs, retired builder

Frank Ronald "Ron" Biggs passed away at home Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1947, in Manhattan, N.Y., the son of the late Frank S. and Margaret Kelly Biggs. He was an only child.

Ron graduated from Bergen Catholic High School and Dayton University. He was an accomplished independent builder in the Washington, D.C. and Lewes area. He retired to Rehoboth Beach in 2000 with his life partner of 30 years, Steven E. Coon, who predeceased him in 2011.

Ron is survived by no family, but by many friends and his beloved dog Bridget.

Services will be private and a Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
