Harbor Healthcare renovation project will expand services
Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, which is undergoing a $500,000 renovation project, is expected to finish the project in June.

Harbor Healthcare is managed by Cadia Healthcare, a long-term-care rehabilitation and skilled-nursing provider.
Harbor Healthcare, which opened its doors to the community in 1988, has three wings: Henlopen, Sussex and Lewes. It has 179 beds with a mix of shared and private rooms, a rehabilitation gym, two patios, a patient lounge, on-site beauty shop and other amenities.
The facility offers long-term care and skilled nursing as well as short-term and rehabilitation care, which includes physical, speech and occupational therapies. The facility currently has 171 residents and employs more than 200 staff members.
Since opening its doors in the community, Harbor Healthcare has provided more than 3.4 million patient-care hours.
