Helios Sunglasses holds ribbon cutting in Rehoboth Beach

June 2, 2021

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of new member Helios Sunglasses with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Nestled in First Street Station, Helios Sunglasses is a brand-new store to downtown Rehoboth Beach. The premium sunglass and apparel store will sell all the brands beach-goers love, such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, Coach and Costa, as well as up-and-coming brands like Blenders and Spy.

Shoppers can snap a photo by the colorful mural created by local artist Laura Erickson, or relax on the fun swing seats.

The name Helios derives from the ancient Greek god of the sun, and the shop’s founders knew it was the perfect concept for the new store. Owners Andrew, Ashlee, Vinny and Melissa Martinelli want everyone to feel like a sun god after they visit – ready for the sun, surf and beach.

Helios Sunglasses is located at 70 Rehoboth Ave. Unit 104. For more information, email info@helios-sunglasses.com or go to helios-sunglasses.com.
