Reader hopes Cape state park is not for sale

October 31, 2022

If a person wants to go to a restaurant, there are plenty in the area to choose from. However, there is only one beautiful place in the area where a person can go alone, or with family or others to enjoy life's simple pleasures. That's our Cape Henlopen State Park, and hopefully it is not for sale.

So please, DNREC, take time to think through and reject the whole insane idea of putting a restaurant there, and don’t let us lose our natural beauty. Do not let money talk again. There's been enough of that in the past several years with the overbuilding that has ruined our area.

Please keep our natural wonder as is.
