Rehoboth in Bloom begins planter project

Rehoboth Beach Main Street recently announced the creation of Rehoboth in Bloom. Nearly 40 people from both downtown Rehoboth and surrounding communities came together to support the beautification of the center of the Rehoboth Beach community.

The initial phase, which includes the installation of 30 planters in the ocean blocks of the Rehoboth Beach business district, begin has begun. Donating the trucks and the labor, Henlopen Landscaping delivered the planters to the first blocks of Baltimore, Wilmington and Rehoboth avenues. Janet Point, grant coordinator, noted, “Providing beautiful gardens to the area of Rehoboth is what drives us. All of us love the downtown area of Rehoboth, and when I heard about this effort to bring more garden beauty to the commercial area, I knew we wanted to be a part of the effort.”
