Robert Stanley Carpenter, had friendly, outgoing nature
Robert Stanley Carpenter, 61, of Lewes, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at his residence.
Born Aug. 4, 1964, in York, Pa., he was the son of Edward R. Carpenter Jr. and Freda A. Carpenter.
Robert grew up in York, Pa. He worked various jobs in machine molding before moving to the Delaware beach area, where he and his nephew operated a parasailing business for many years. He later worked for approximately 15 years with Seasonal Solutions Pools & Spa, where he was well known and appreciated by his customers.
Robert was a NASCAR fan who enjoyed attending races and participating in charity drives at Dover Downs. He was also a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved spending time outdoors, including walking and camping. He will be remembered as a very friendly and outgoing person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Lori-Ann Wallo-Carpenter.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Shue of Red Lion, Pa.; his stepson, Jack Swihart; his companion, Jasmine Watkins; his brother-in-law, Stephen Wallo (Jeannie); and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 10, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
