For the second year, the number of expo exhibitors has required expansion into the gymnasium space at Cape High.Exhibitors taking part in the 28th annual Spring Home Expo held April 11 and 12 at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes were busy both days. More than 140 businesses and organizations presented their products and services to an estimated crowd of 2,000 visitors over the two-day, free-admission event.
"This is the second year now that we had to expand into the gymnasium to accommodate all the participating exhibitors, and we even had several positioned outdoors. We are so blessed to have the outstanding Cape Henlopen High School venue in which to host our expos," said Kathy Benson, Spring Home Expo co-founder and director.
Delaware Resorts Expos made contributions to Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and Sussex County Rotary Can-Do Playground. Several other volunteer nonprofits were present to create a town square atmosphere where community members could learn about various causes.
Next up for Delaware Resorts Expos is the second annual Summer Living Expo, set for Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14, at Cape High.
