Winners announced for inaugural Rehoboth Reflections
Rehoboth Beach announced it has chosen the 14 winners for its inaugural Rehoboth Reflections photo competition. Featuring a variety of locations and subject matters, the photographs will be featured in Rehoboth Beach’s 2022 calendar, expected to be out in December.
According to a Sept. 30 press release from the city, 82 individuals submitted 152 photos.
“We were really pleased and grateful for the enthusiasm shown for the photo competition and for the wonderful Rehoboth-area perspectives that were shared,” said Lynne Coan, city communication specialist, in a statement with the release. “Rehoboth is certainly a photogenic community, and we loved the variety of iconic locations and experiences that were captured in the submitted photographs.”
In addition to announcing the winners, the city announced it is now accepting photo submissions for the 2023 calendar. The city announced the competition for the 2022 calendar in early August, with a mid-September submission deadline.
The hope is that people will think about submitting photos of all the seasons in Rehoboth as they’re taken, said Coan.
