Peninsula Cleaners celebrates new equipment upgrades

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce celebrated new equipment upgrades at Peninsula Cleaners with a ribbon cutting March 22.

Peninsula Cleaners and The Sleep Emporium have partnered to lease space and renovate their individual locations to bring their respective services to the Rehoboth Beach community.

Peninsula Cleaners was the first dry cleaner in Delaware to purchase and solely utilize state-of-the-art “wet cleaning” equipment and processes to clean "dry clean only" garments. The business has since made new investments and updated to an energy-efficient hydrocarbon technology. This technology can be used to clean garments that may be too delicate for the wet cleaning technology, but still provides the health and environmental benefits of not utilizing traditional perc dry cleaning machines. They also have installed a new shirt press to produce a high-quality, professionally finished shirt at one of the lowest prices in the area.
